MS Excel 2002 Fundamentals This course presents students with the fundamental elements of Excel 2002. The Excel interface is covered along with the creation of worksheets and use of Excel Help. This course also teaches students how to work with data and how to format worksheets.

Productivity at Home Creativity and Innovation: Increasing Personal Creativity In "Creativity and Innovation: Increasing Personal Creativity," you will learn how to mentally and physically prepare for creativity, how to incorporate innocence, intuition, and adventure into creative thinking, and how to use creativity to generate ideas and solve problems. You will also learn exercises for preparing the mind and body for creative thinking, as well as the most common ways creativity is incorporated into problem solving.

Internet and WWW Introduction This course provides Internet and Web users with the knowledge and skills required to select an Internet connection type and Internet Service Provider (ISP), locate and retrieve information on the Web, and communicate with others via the Internet. An overview of the Internet and its services, business uses of the Internet, and Internet security concerns will be covered. In addition, participants will learn how to browse the Web, send and receive e-mail, post messages to newsgroups, and perform Web searches.

Introduction to PCs and Software The goal of this course is to provide the learner with comprehensive foundational knowledge of PCs (their parts and how they work), working with Windows, MS application software, and using the Internet and E-mail. The course starts with a section on introduction to the PC that covers benefits, components, hardware and software, input and output devices, storage and general maintenance. The second section covers working with Windows XP, for example components of the Windows desktop, opening and closing applications, and managing windows and files.The third section covers the main types of MS application software: word processing, spreadsheet, database, graphics and presentation. The basics of working with MS Word are also covered. The final section of the course covers the basics of Internet technology and uses (referring to Internet Explorer 6.0). There is a lesson each on using the World Wide Web and using E-mail.

MS FrontPage 2000 Proficient User This course prepares IT Professionals to create Web pages, create and maintiain Webs using FrontPage 2000.

MS Internet Explorer 5.0 Fund This course provides participants with the skills to use Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0. At the completion of this course, students will learn how to search for Web pages; customize the display of Web pages; organize Web pages in the Favorites folder; save and print Web pages; identify the advanced features of IE 5.0; and use the basic features of Outlook Express.

MS Word 2002 Expert User This course covers skills particular to the expert user of Word 2002. Advanced text and document handling is covered along with document styles and macros in the first unit. The second unit covers group editing and document distribution, advanced workgroup collaboration and forms. The final areas covered are tables, indexes and referencing, advanced document navigation and data tables.

Self-Development: Increasing Your Assertiveness In "Self-Development: Increasing Your Assertiveness," you will learn about the effects of self-talk and self-fulfilling prophecies, as well as how to enhance your self-esteem. In addition, you will learn how to respond assertively to put-downs, how to express your anger constructively, and how to strengthen your assertiveness.
