| Q | What are the estimated course durations? |
| A |
Course completion times vary depending on content coverage. On average, the LearnDell courses will require the following amounts of time and do not include the time required to complete the assessment:
|
| Q | Are the LearnDell Course assessments open-book tests? |
| A | No, the LearnDell courses are not open-book courses so students are not able to refer back to the course material while taking the test. However you are able to launch another browser window open for information on support.dell.com. |
| Q | Where can I find my transcript? |
| A | In the upper right corner of your transcript, there is a link that allows you to print a hardcopy of your transcript. |
| Q | Will I be able to review the material or retake my assessments after I have passed the course? |
| A | No, once you have completed a certification the required courses are not assessable again until 30 days prior to the expiration of your certification. |
| Q | How will I know when my certification is about to expire? |
| A | You will receive an email 30 days prior to your certification expiration date indicating which courses you will need to complete to recertify. |
| Q | When will I be able to order my parts? |
| A | You will be able to order parts 48 hours after completing your certification. |
| Q | Will I lose my place in a course if I need to quit in the middle? |
| A | No, the LearnDell course keeps track of your progress and returns to where you were when you restart the course. |
| Q | When I launch a course, a menu box pop up appears with a link to the course I selected. Can I close it before taking my course? |
| A | No, the LearnDell course requires this menu box to remain open while you take the course. If it is closed, your course completion will not be recorded in your transcript. |
| Q | I have completed a test, but my transcripts still show incomplete. What can cause this? |
| A | When taking the test, you must have the correct version of java loaded as well as keeping the course menu builder box open when launching and taking the course. These factors contribute to incorrect transcript issues. |
| Q | Why is my LearnDell profile not allowing me to order warranty parts if I have completed my test? |
| A | Verify the certification requirements for your program in the My Certification Courses page. In some cases you may be required to pass two courses in order to become certified. |
| Q | What is the minimum score required to pass the course assessment? |
| A | You must pass the course assessment with a minimum score of 85% on the server assessment and 80% or greater on the remaining assessments |
